‘Navigating Directorship: Legal Consequences, Responsibilities and Risks in Office’ offers a deep dive into the legal landscape surrounding directors' duties and liabilities whilst in office. An extended version after “PowerTalk on Being Sued as an INED: Personal Journey” based on registrants’ interest in this topic.
First-hand experiences shared by Chithra Ganesalingam, former independent Chairman of Apex Equity Holdings Berhad. Participants will leave session gaining valuable insights into navigating litigation, comprehending legal processes, jargons and hurdles.
The programme will delve into areas of concern for directors on litigation risks, exploring safeguards and risk mitigation solutions including Directors and Officers (D&O) liability insurance.
